What we collect

Nothing. There is no account to create, no email to provide, no analytics running, and no error reporting sent to any server. We do not collect any personal or usage data of any kind.

What stays on your device

The following data is stored exclusively in Chrome extension storage on your machine:

  • Your consent preference (Reject All / Accept All / Custom)
  • Your per-category custom settings (if using Custom mode)
  • Your site exceptions (disabled domains, always-accept domains)
  • Your activity log (handled banner count and history)
  • Your earned badges

Preferences may sync across your devices if you are signed into Chrome and have extension sync enabled — this sync happens through Google Chrome, not through any Eat My Cookies server.

What we can't see

Everything listed above. We have no backend. There is no server receiving data from you. We cannot see your preferences, your activity, which sites you visit, or anything else. This is not a policy promise with asterisks — it is a technical fact. We have no infrastructure to receive data.
